Welcome

Are you looking for a church where you will receive a warm welcome as well as the opportunity to experience the transforming presence of the Lord Jesus Christ?  If so, we would like to invite you to come and worship with us on a Sunday morning.  Our church’s website will provide you with additional information about who we are and how we are attempting to honor the Lord in the twenty-first century.  We are an historic congregation but one which is also looking forward to what God has in store for us in the future.  We look forward to meeting you when you come and visit with us.

We welcome all who wish to become members of Bedford Presbyterian Church upon their profession of faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and who present themselves for membership by affirmation / reaffirmation of faith or transfer from another church. Those who wish to attend and participate in the life of the church, but who do not desire to become members are also welcome and will be “Friends” of the church.

About the Presbyterian Church

God comes to us in free and undeserved favor in the person of Jesus Christ who lived, died, and rose for us that we might belong to God and serve Christ in the world. Following Jesus, Presbyterians are engaged in the world and in seeking thoughtful solutions to the challenges of our time.

Presbyterians affirm that God comes to us with grace and love in the person of Jesus
Christ, who lived, died, and rose for us so that we might have eternal and abundant life in him. As Christ’s disciples, called to ministry in his name, we seek to continue his mission of teaching the truth, feeding the hungry, healing the broken, and welcoming strangers. God sends the Holy Spirit to dwell within us, giving us the energy, intelligence, imagination, and love to be Christ’s faithful disciples in the world.
